Coronavirus British Supermoto Championship

With the recent escalating public concerns over the spread of Coronavirus we here at NoraSport wish to ensure all our competitors, spectators and officials are aware that we are taking matters seriously and wish to work with all to help alleviate any concerns, or worse case the spread of the virus.

At present there are some major sporting events being held behind closed doors, but this has yet to be recommended by any motor sport body in the UK nor is the UK government looking to put an embargo on any type of sporting event at the present time..

Our approach is for ALL involved to be be sensible and respect personal space over race weekends. We would also ask that if you have recently travelled to/returned from one of the countries highly effected by the virus that you consider your attendance at a race meeting.

If you feel that you display any of the symptoms that you immediately seek advice from the NHS help line 111.
Please follow current NHS and Government advice prior to and over any race weekend so we can minimise the risk of spreading the virus.

Key Points

  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water or alcohol-based hand sanitiser
  • Cover your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze and throw the tissue away immediately
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
  • Keep at least one metre away from anyone coughing and sneezing.

Thank you all for your understanding and co-operation.
